My friend and i are going to a jonas brothers concert tomorrow at jones beach. The only way we could get tickets is to get them one at a time so we’re sitting by ourselves =[
What should we do to sit together? Someone told me to stand in the aisle with her until we get yelled at….but what else could we do?

ask a person that’s there singaly close to your friend behind or infront or a couple seats down to trade with you. Or something. There are going to be a lot of nice people there willing to help usually. And some people might even have the same proablem as you and close around you! So if so, then you can do that. Collectables’ Jukebox Hits of the ’70s is an attractive package for consumers who want the biggest hits of the era. All 62 songs spread out over these five discs are recognizable. Unlike other similar sets, these songs are not re-recordings; these are the original hit versions. More than likely the casual listener will only need one track from the Emotions, Pilot, Brewer Shipley, Mungo Jerry, or Looking Glass. The one major flaw of the series, besides lack of decent packaging, is that while disc one has 25 tracks, the other four feature half the songs per disc. This could have easily been contained to a more cost-effective three-disc set.

I live alone apart from 2 cats. I work in an office, but feel i ought to be getting out more. I dont have a girlfriend at the moment. I belong to a local competitions group, that meet once a month. I like going out to the cinema and to concerts, but i dont seem to actually meet people. I win a lot of concert tickets, Tom Jones, Beautiful South, Good Food Show at the NEC, but i usually end up going on my own,though i do sometimes bump into friends from either a competition site i use, or friends from the competition club. Ive just won another car in a competition. But i find christmas a very "family" season. I havent got any kids. My brother lives in USA, my sister goes away with her bf for christmas. My mother is no longer with us and havent really been close to my dad in years. So i can see me feeling a bit lost and lonely over the christmas / new year period. Just wondered if anyone could suggest something. Im not a heavy drinker, though i do like the odd cider or three

The 50-year-old King of Pop was rushed to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday afternoon after he stopped breathing in his Los Angles home.

The paper’s report followed news of Jackson’s death first reported by the TMZ entertainment website, which said that the singer suffered a cardiac arrest.

Jackson had been busy rehearsing for a high-stakes comeback tour, set to start within weeks in England, with dozens of dates scheduled and tickets selling out quickly. To prepare for the rigors of performing, he was training with Lou Ferrigno, the star of the TV show The Incredible Hulk.

On Thursday afternoon, he collapsed in his home near UCLA and was unresponsive when paramedics arrived, a source says. Paramedics performed CPR, and Jackson was seen with an oxygen mask over his face being hauled on a stretcher to an ambulance, which took him to the hospital just minutes away on campus.

Jackson had been due to start a series of concerts in London on July 13 running until March 2010. The singer had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months.

The shows for the 50 London concerts sold out within minutes of going on sale in March.

In his 50 years, Jackson went from the cute little singer in his family’s group to dazzling headliner and unquestionably the reigning pop star of the ’80s to amid accusations of child molestation social outcast. The seventh of nine children of Joseph and Katherine Jackson, Michael was born in Gary, Ind., on Aug. 29, 1958, and began his career performing with his brothers. His professional debut with the Jackson 5 came at age 11.

The group set chart records with its first four singles, including “I Want You Back” and “ABC.” As a solo artist, Jackson also recorded four studio albums for Motown Records before moving, with his brothers, to Epic Records, where they continued to record as the Jacksons until 1984.

Forming a partnership with producer Quincy Jones after working together on the 1978 movie musical The Wiz Jackson played a rather sheepish Scarecrow to Diana Ross’s Dorothy in this urban adaptation of The Wizard of Oz Jackson released his solo album Off the Wall, which he co-produced with Jones. Released in 1979, the disc spawned hits including “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” and “Rock With You.” His second Epic solo album, 1982’s Thriller, is often cited as the best-selling album of all time.

Jackson has three children named Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II, known for his brief public appearance when his father held him over the railing of a hotel balcony, causing widespread criticism
