when does ticketmaster start selling yankees tickets?

i want to buy tickets to yankee games but stubhub is expensive i was wondering if ticketmaster is cheaper

yankee games are mostly sold out unless you want the real expensive seats they cannot sell behind the diamond…$350-1200 each. Look for the secondary resellers who sell off less attractive games (mid week, non divisional opponents, etc) usually at a discount.

is it true that you can only get some tickets for the yankees vs dodgers tickets only?

by purchasing those mini packages ?

someone at a bar said that is they only way you will get some tickets for that game at Dodgers Stadium//

what is the news does anyone know?

The Dodgers are like many teams that package together the hot teams such as Yankees and Red Sox in a package to insure that they sell less attractive game tickets (mid week dates, competition that isn’t very good). You can still get the Yankees game tickets through Vertex from season ticket holders who post them for sale individually. May not come cheap, but you wouldn’t have to waste the money on teams you are not that interested in seeing.

I bought my boyfriend yankees tickets (4-6 game) for his birthday and I have never been to the stadium before. We live in pennsylvania and are not sure how to go about getting to the stadium, any good restaurants in the area, that sorta thing. Parking in the stadium is not an option because it is like $80-100 per spot..ridiculous..im wondering what we should do– maybe drive to jersey take the ferry over and then the subway??

anyone know?
when i bought the tickets they told me about the parking prices, i think they said 83 or 113 i dont member

Kinda depends on where in PA you are coming from. I recently relocated from NY to Philly and i’m going to the game on April 5th and my route will be simple…NJ Turnpike to George Washington Bridge to 87 South (Major Deagan). However…I was NOT aware the parking prices are that much. I knew they were jacked up for the bigger games like the last week of the season.

Why not park somewhere in the Bronx near a subway station and take the 4 in? Restaurants…there are bars around the stadium but you can’t really sit and eat and they will be packed before, during, and after the game. You could drive into Manhattan for something to eat or Drive north on 87 into Yonkers. Search online for restaurants in Yonkers. Just be prepared to sit in some traffic on 87 either way.

**Edit** My 4/5 tickets were purchased by my girlfriend as a gift. Cool.

i always see guys saying "extra tickets" but if i was actually looking they probably wouldn’t be there…. safer to buy on like stubhub (you can get pretty cheap tickets for weekday games)

If Yankees tickets now cost more than a Broadway show, to which would you bring your family?

If I had the money for either and lived in New York, I’d ask them what they’d prefer to see.

2009 NY Yankees single game tickets are on sale when?

January 22nd, 2010

I called the phone number and they were super rude and vague about whether these tickets would even be on sale! Right now only season plans are on sale. Does anyone have any info on tickets?
Thanks!
They are NOT out via the NY Yankees! I want to get them from the Yanks, not StubHub or other sites like it.
Any idea when the Yanks will sell them?

i am not sure when they are goin on sale, most people said they should have gone on sale already but i keep checking everyday, all they have on sale so far is the season tickets, i am going to try to call the yankees box office tomorro to see if they have any final date, bc it doesnt even say on ticketmaster and that is usually who the yankees sell their tickets through bc we go every year. ill repost if i find anything out

Does anyone know when where and how I can purchase season tickets for the yankees 2009?

I have never had season tickets before, but I would like to have them for the new stadium. If anyone knows information about the process I would appreciate it. The yankee website does not have information insofar as I can tell.

Contact the Yankees season ticket sales office, via Yankees.com after the season is over (November, December). Only people who currently have boxes or season ticket plans can renew them right now.

Warning: They’re ridiculously expensive next year. We usually have field champ seats near the dugout at $250 a seat, per game. Next year, they’re going up to $600+. I’m sure that tier and bleachers will be going up too.
