Apparently 250 Yankee fans were promised tickets and a meet and greet with Goose Gossage. Just before the “event” started they were told to rush somewhere 3 blocks away, where they only saw Gossage wave from his limo as he passed by.
To seal their fate, Pepsi didn’t actually have 250 tickets to give out, stunning the fans, many of them arriving hours early to take part in opening day at the new Yankee Stadium.
On April 16th, 10pm EST Break.com posts the video “Pepsi Promotion Backfires with Fans” on their homepage.
Very quickly, tons of views and comments appear on the Break.com video. On Friday morning the video was removed from the Break.com Homepage, but was still permalinked, watch-able, embeddable, and comment-on-able.

Today, the morning of 4/20, the video has been completely removed from Break. They had posted it on the homepage a few days ago, then removed it from the homepage, and now on Monday they have removed it entirely
