Welcome to The East Anglian Story Telling Festival! This year’s festival will take place at Cressing Temple Barns in Essex, a site rich in history. The one-day festival will take place in its 13th century barns, and around the grounds, including the Tudor walled garden.

We are delighted to offer the very first early bird tickets of the Festival to you – we have only a limited number at a knock-down price. These are for our evening sessions: a smorgasbord of different storytelling shows, including longer and enthralling performances of story theatre for adults and older children from two of the UK’s most accomplished storytellers, Nick Hennessy and Sarah Rundle

Nick Hennessey is an internationally acclaimed storyteller, playwright, folk singer, song writer and musician. He has told stories for more than 20 years, performing at venues such as the Southbank Centre and the Royal Albert Hall. He is particularly drawn to North European cultural traditions. The dynamic, irreverent and definitely un-twee Sarah Rundle is a professional storyteller and actor based in West London. She has performed at the Earls Court and Milton Park festivals, supported comedian Milton Jones and worked with the New Wimbledon Theatre. Sarah weaves complex tales, stories within stories, with unexpected twists. Her repertoire includes folk tales from Britain and Ireland, stories from the Middle East and the Silk Road. http://www.sarahrundle.co.uk
